Women in Film India, in collaboration with Gold House, will select one woman filmmaker from India to represent WIF India at the Gold House Pitch during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2026.

The Gold House Pitch brings together selected filmmakers to present feature narrative film, feature non-fiction or series projects to an audience of producers, financiers, executives, and industry leaders, creating opportunities for meaningful industry exposure, strategic connections, and potential partnerships.

The Scholarship Includes

  • Participation in the Gold House Pitch at TIFF 2026
  • Pitch preparation and guidance from WIF India prior to the event
  • Access to Gold House and TIFF industry networking opportunities (subject to festival programming and accreditation)
  • Opportunity to present your project before an international audience of film professionals and decision-makers
  • The Delegation Package – Return Airfare, accommodation, and official accreditation to the festival.

Applicants should have:

  • A feature narrative film, feature non-fiction or a series project suitable for international pitching
  • A clearly articulated vision for the project
  • Strong potential for international collaboration, financing, or market partnerships
  • A project that demonstrates meaningful Asian Pacific representation through its story, themes, characters, or creative team
